In het aanzien van overweldigende sociale en ecologische crises beoefenen we in deze workshop actieve hoop, geïnspireerd op het werk van Joanna Macy. Dit werk sterkt onze veerkracht en community door apathie en wanhoop om te zetten in hoopvolle actie.
Door middel van 4 rituelen verbinden we ons met onze dankbaarheid, onze pijn, alle levende wezens en onze aspiraties en stimuleren we bekrachtigende samenwerkingen die bijdragen aan een grotere community van klimaatactivisten.
Deze workshop zal gegeven worden door Damian Bosch en Tet Koffeman, beiden MEA facilitators, en zal in Amelisweerd plaatsvinden. We zullen het laatste ritueel afsluiten met een vegan potluck.

Datum en tijd: zaterdag 31 januari 8.00 – 11.00 uur (zonsopgang 8.22 uur)
Verzamelen bij het terras van de Veldkeuken in Amelisweerd
Kosten: 10-25 euro p.p., naar draagkracht

Active Hope for Communities

Facing overwhelming social and ecological crises, in this workshop we will practice Active Hope, inspired by the work of Joanna Macy. This practice will strengthen our resilience and sense of community by transforming apathy and despair into hopeful action.
By carrying out 4 rituals we will connect to our gratitude, our grief, all living beings and our aspirations and we will stimulate empowering collaborations that will contribute to a larger community of climate activists.
This workshop will be hosted by Damian Bosch and Tet Koffeman, both MEA facilitators, and will take place in Amelisweerd. The final ritual will be rounded up by a potluck.

Date and time: Saturday January 31st, 8 – 11 AM (sunrise 8.22)
Gather at the terrace of the Veldkeuken
Costs: 10-25 euro pp, according to your means
